Little Leap design and produce recyclable kids shoes, which will help reduce the amount that goes to landfill. Children's feet grow super fast and they regularly need new shoes. As a result, there are >15 million outgrown children's shoes in the UK every year, and 95% of footwear ends up in landfill.
Little Leap are just starting out and finding their feet (pun intended!). After changing their company name to be more customer friendly, they also needed a new brand identity that appealed to both children and their busy, eco-conscious parents. Alongside this, they needed a way to communicate their innovative product to investors to help gain the funding they needed to take the business forward.
We decided that a Mini Branding Project would work best for Little leap, as it would be a quick turnaround and we can tailor the one day creative workshop to help create the specific tools that Alastair needs to present to his investors and get his brand off the ground.
We established a brand positioning statement which helped inform our design decisions. ‘For busy, eco-conscious parents, Little Leap reduces environmental impact and improves wellbeing by creating aspirational, user-focused, eco-conscious products for children within the broader movement of eliminating waste’.

Our tagline, ‘Little Shoes. Big Impact’, sums up the outcome of this brand so well; a small kids' clothing business that makes a big difference to the environment.
The identity we created reflects this with an upbeat, playful colour palette that matches the products with complementary hues. And a minimal logo which adds a subtle sense of movement. A brand that encourages children to get out there and explore, whilst leaping towards a world that is more environmentally conscious.
